I just want to know if any anouncements will be at this show. If not then its a total waste of time.

Great to see ME2 enters in a lot of categories... I guess everyone that it could be, expect maybe better graphics. Anyway, it's my personal GOTY since january and I hope it wins it all.

Sam Worthington nominated for best voice acting negates any credibility those nominations had.

Sadly missing SMG2 and SC2 for GOTY as well. I think RDR will win (though ME2 is the best of those nominees)

SMG2 should have at least been on the GOTY list but it's irrelevant to me because I think ME2 should win it. Great, great game.

Lack of Blood Bowl for best sports game is somewhat disappointing, But no SC2 or even CiV for GOTY is just absurd. But then again it is a console centric Station.

only thing i REALLY care about during this Awards is the new game trailers they reveal. there is always at least one or two that get my interest.

Spike's VGAs are so painful every year. I really don't enjoy them, yet somehow i am compelled to watch.

Of course StarCraft 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 fail to get a nomination for GOTY.. the two games that deserve the award it more then any other game this year.

EDIT: though i'm happy to see jennifer hale get a nomination! i hope she wins it. FemShep needs more attention, male shep sucks.

Do they? i hope so! Jennifer Hale does an amazing job. What i want is for her to become the face of ME, not that goofy looking generic male shepard.

There's a lot of fail in those lists :S Looks mire like they rather took popular franchises than what actually showed quality. Fable 3 and FF13 as best RPG? lol?

Absence of two giant S2 in the GOTY list=instant fail.

probably not listed for GOTY because teens want the show, and they like shooters and probably Spike was paid for those games to be on the list

I guess all the delay rumours pushed GT5 out of the running for nominations. Too bad as I'm sure if they knew 100% it was coming out this year(like we do now) they would have included it in Best GOTY, Best PS3 GOTY and Best Racing GOTY.

So you have to be kind of known to be nominated for best performance, huh? I'll give it to Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, but there are better performances as women in ME2.

I also have this dark feeling that Black Ops is going to win everything it's in, and will not deserve a single win.

Spike tv is a legitimate channel now? Once they stopped carrying Startrek the next generation I stopped watching the channel completely and their Game awards were never actually good or even accepted industry standard even.

What the hell? Reach wasn't nominated for best soundtrack? :?
