Brawl is one of the most hyped games of the year.

That being said (and yes I own a Wii), I don't get it.

It must just be fun as hell to play. I watched Morgan and Adam demo it on Xplay and was like huh? This is a Wii game?? (Which is not saying much). I know I will get so flamed for this but I just didn't get it. It LOOKED horrible. It looked like a PS1 game.

Then again it IS Nintendo so as I said it apparantly must be fun as hell. I'm going to rent it and hope so because otherwise, I've seen XBLA titles that seem to look better and that alone dissapointed me.

This is in no way a dig on Nintendo (I love their first party), in fact after hearing so much about Brawl, I think I was just that much more dissapointed when seeing gameplay footage.

I mean it looked all 2D and generic. And they were hyping the hell out of it, maybe they were just showing bad shots.

I know I will get so flamed for this but I just didn't get it. It LOOKED horrible. It looked like a PS1 game.

Sorry. not that much into video game music like that...

although I love ToS's soundtrack and even got the OST, but alas its just to remind me of how awesome the game is..

although lost odysseys theme is very epic... I still need to pick up LO..

One of the best things about Brawl's soundtrack is that it's not only huge, but diverse. You have a melodic death metal remix of the Gourmet song from Kirby, a choir remix of the LoZ theme, a jazz style remix of the Mario theme, dance versions of Star Fox music, and best of all, songs that are blends of various genres, like the new Final Destination theme, which blends orchestral music, techno music, and heavy metal.

Of course, there's far more then that, there's over 300 songs in the game. I think Mario alone has over 20 songs from past games remixed in various genres. There's something for everyone.

You have a few options available to you:

1. Start learning proper sarcasm.

2. Start learning about pre-rendered backgrounds, display resolution, polygons, and mapping techniques among a bunch of other things.

3. Grab a flame shield and don't let go of it.

Fallout 3 will probably suck. Bethesda RPG's and Black Isle RPG's are considerably different to one another, and quite frankly I doubt Bethesda's ability to develop a deep and complex Roleplaying game.

You're overlooking the fact that SSB is basically every Nintendo fan's wet dream. Not to mention that Melee came out in '01 and most of us still play it regularly today. Brawl is basically Melee x10 or something. The amount of content has nearly doubled since Melee, if not more than that.

To the guy saying the first 2 never got AAA. I'm still playing Melee today in fact I just played it yesterday. I can't say I have done that with any other game and when Brawl comes out my 360 will not even get any play time at all for a long long time.I could care less if this game got 5.0 or 2.0 I would still buy it and play it more then any game this gen probably.Hockey_Slayer
