12 years later New Map for Halo 3

I can't believe this game is still active and being supported. Is there anyone who still plays Halo 3?

Halo 3's latest new map, called Edge, has now been added to the Master Chief Collection, although it's currently only available to participants in the game's testing program. Edge follows the addition of Waterfall last month, which was the first new map for Halo 3 in almost 12 years.

Developer 343 Industries posted on Twitter that if you're a member of the Halo Insider Program, the Season 7 test flight is now live and enables you to try out Edge. It'll be playable in Social Matchmaking in the Master Chief Collection. In addition, this test flight also includes a handful of visual improvements for Halo: Combat Evolved. Link

I genuinely can't believe how its even possible to play something this old. I know Pedro sees "old" and wants to quote me about Demon's remake so bad. Very predictable, Pedro. Very predictable.

That’s pretty cool. I sometimes think about hopping back into a few more matches with the Master Chief Collection. Kind of want to go and check out that new map.

H3 survived for 12 years. Now imagine the lasting appeal of Infinite after what was shown 😂

halo 3 still looks/plays decent especially on pc, only hipsters care about how new something is and new isnt always better.

halo 3>>ps4/ps5 entire library tbh lol and i wasnt even a huge fan of it.

I played Halo 3 to death in 07 and 08 . Why should care about H3 in 2021?

a great game, is a great game forever doesnt make a crap how old or new it is, plus people are making new maps for it on pc via forge.

Has nothing to do with it being crap. If you cared about the game, you've most likely played the hell out of it at its prime. If you want to play it now, fine, but i don't see how could anybody play it hardcore like back in the days. H3 in 2021 is a game for a few days worth of playtime. In 07 that thing was months/years worth of playtime.

Aim assist ruins the real competitiveness for halo on console, pc/mac is where it started and shoulda been in the first place.
