Josh Beckett was a beast on the mound last night. He dominated that Cleveland lineup when he needed to.

Great win for the Sox. I heard that the Cleveland fans already had the towels and apparrel out as if they had already clinched to go to the World Series. They must have forgot about the 2004 Red Sox team!

Yah, I'm excited to see the pitching lineup next year. I wonder who they will pick up in the off season.

I can't imagine getting a pitcher from the free agent pool. There is absoultely no one there, barring a trade, but Red Sox have no one they can offer to other teams since Ellsbury, Bucholtz are untouchables. Most likely Bucholtz and Lester will be part of that lineup along with Wakefield.

I agree, but man. That was somethin' to watch. It seemed like his 2-seamer just kept getting nastier and nastier. I guess "Big Game Beckett" seems pretty fitting now. I don't really care who wins the series, but I do wanna see it get to game 7 just so I can see if Dice-K is gonna silence the critics...or at least make it into the fifth, :p.

Beckett has had three postseason starts and three dominating victories. He's been Mr. Clutch so far, at least among the pitchers. If Dice-K can have a good start tomorrow then he will redeem himself of his dismal starts so far.

He pitched a great game but I just have a feeling that the time off for the Rockies is going to hurt them like it did to my Tigers last season.

Beckett is one of the best Postseason pitchers ever and the best in MLB among actives.
