Do you root for an out of state team?

Yes I do.

I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada.  So the only pro sports team in my province is the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL.  So I'm a big fan of them.

As for other sports/leagues, my favorite teams are:  Denver Broncos, Phoenix Suns, Vancouver Canucks, and Manchester United.

I live in Phoenix now, and just started getting into baseball for some reason, so my favorite team is the Arizona Diamondbacks.

So in the end, my favorite teams are kind of all over the place.

Anyway, I root for NY teams except for in basketball, and in football I also root for Dallas.

i live in florida but the only florida team i really care about are my gators, so i thought i'd just list the out of state teams that i align myself with. baseball is a little more complicated, its truly my favorite sport so its hard to explain, but i have a sincere passion for the game that i think transcends having "a team", there are several teams i enjoy following, mainly because i live in florida and we have the class A+ Florida state league teams here. I like watching the boys journey from A ball to the show, kind of like a little ant farm. If you want to be super technical about it, i follow the reds, jays, yanks, and to a lesser extent the dodgers who have a double a club in jacksonville. florida has spring training too, so i get attached to those players as well, particularly the pirates because they are stationed in my hometown, the yanks and the reds are also close by.

some people think this makes me a bandwagoner, but seriously... what kind of bandwagon do the pirates or the reds really have? i can pretty much guarantee that i know more about these club's farm teams than most people know about their favorite mlb teams.

well my state has no pro teams so yeah

but in college football its the marshall thundering herd then the west virginia mountaineers for me

I do like the Vikings...The Twins are ok

But My Fav Team is the Detroit Red Wings...

I live in North Carolina and the only home team I root for is the East Carolina University Pirates.

Well I live in GA but I'm from North Carolina so I pull for UNC basketball and panters, people don't like me here because of it, I mean UNC beats down GA Tech every year people don't like to see me happy about it.jdub1993

I'm a Jets and Red Sox fan.  I was born in Rochester, NY, but I now reside outside of Philly.  I hate the Eagles and I am indifferent towards the Phils.  I'm a Sox fan because I fell in love with Fenway and quickly fell in love with the team in 1986, after my first visit to the Fens.  I have always hated the Jints, so I followed NY's bastard child, the Jets, even through the Kotite years...
