which one of these two young big men would you start a franchise with?

bosh,22, much more refined on the offensive side of the ball. A good rebounder and a decent defender.

howard, 21, one of the best rebounders and a great defensive presence down in the paint. Pretty good offensive player.

Bosh, much more of a smart offensive player, with excellent rebounding skills, leadership and good defensive abilities.

Bosh is a more polished player and will probably stay that way but I would still take D.Howard. He is just a stud in the paint with his size and strength and those type of players don't come around too often.

Bosh is a better overall player, especially on offense...and since Bosh is in the starting lineup in the East all-stars, for the reasons I've explained I'd pick him over howard.

Is he replacing someone on the East starting line-up? You can't say he's better because the fans voted him a starter. That's a popularity contest. If he's replacing someone injured, though, then you can say that he was chosen as a starter for merit.

Bosh just has a better overall game. Dwight Howard is fairly limited offensively.

I'd put Bosh in the top 15 players in the league right now, going up. While I wouldn't have Howard anywhere higher than the Top 30.

bosh is the better player right now. But Howard got snubbed a starting role in the all star game. Shaq's popularity got him in. The man has been out for more the 80% of the season. Both Howard and Bosh are tremendous players. But Bosh is a true leader. He's taken the Raptors from the bottom of the barrel to an elite NBA team.

you would put Bosh on top 15 but not Howard When these two guys are very similar and Howard who is the better defender

Becuase he is the starter doesnt make him better:| Shaq starting at C for the East but he diserves it because we all know he has done amazing this season

my pick goes to howard. the kid has great work ethics and personality and it's so rare to find a "pure big-men" who can rebound, block shots, and power his way to the basket. Also, his shooting range is not limited like shaq's

Bosh by far.

He has amazing offensive skills, and much improved defensive skills, consider he's only in his third year.

Most importantly, he's the team leader of a team previously in shambles.

I love Bosh's game and both are great character guys, but Dwight Howard is a beast and everything you could possibly want in a big man at 21 years of age. I already consider him the best rebounder in the league and he will only improve his all around game over time. He's practically a Moses Malone clone and I'd have to choose him over Bosh, though they're both among my favorite young players in the league right now.

two people argued for howard (including me) while there was more than ten who liked bosh better. It looks like bosh wins.

Bosh. I think he's a better player overall and a good leader for Toronto. He's really been helping the Raptors win lately.

bosh is the better one and thats a fact, they just played like a week agon and bosh put it down, howard cant hit a jumpshot very well and bosh hits em like dirk nowitski and he can dunk like vince carter, and he rebounds like dwight howard. maybe hes not the better defender because hes smaller, but a defender rarely makes other players better, bosh also gets assists and that makes your team better.
