President Donald Trump says that Democrats are responsible for a 'massive child smuggling industry' in the United States that is making human traffickers a steep profit.

The president says that 'traffickers are making a fortune' and its all thanks to loopholes he says are the fault of Democrats that exist in the immigration system.

'It's a whole big con job,' the president charged in a Cabinet meeting. 'They've let it happen.'

I was only semi-serious when I suggested this possibility earlier. Yes, children do go missing through immigration, but Trump takes it to a whole another level by deflecting the issue.

Are they shipped straight to pizza restaurants in D.C. then?

Come up with a solution, he's in charge now..so do something about it...stop laying/passing blame.

He's obviously throwing blame around, but he's not wrong.

And the president cried wolf again, thinking deviously that it would be hillarious to watch the idiot townspeople believe him no matter how many times he lied to them.

Is it just me or Trump getting crazier every single week that passes? This month has been absolutely insane.

It sounds like he is blaming them for weak regulations that indirectly create victims, not suggesting that they are the actual ones that are trafficking them like the discredited Pizzagate scandal.

It can definitely be chalked up to the Presidents lack of articulation. It's similar to when he said "Obama created ISIS"

In all honesty he doesn't seem mentally fit and hasn't for some time. Unfortunately the Republicans would rather sell the country down the river than get rid of their problem. I don't understand how a cult of personality is more important than the country.

He does know what he's doing. Casting blame on another party and refusing to take any ownership for his actions or the state of the country. This is straight out of Trump's playbook. Blame and deflect when it's bad, praise yourself and puff out your chest when it's good (and not even a result of your actions).

It works on a large part of the population.

To be fair this separation of family, drugging of children and sexual abuse appears to have been an issues longer than the Trump administration. Why the news media is someone not paying attention to the drugging and sexual abuse is for me very distrubing.
