Based on Vindman's own testimony, he actively tried to undermine the president's agenda while in the NSC. That isn't his job, and that alone was grounds to dismiss him. He also claims he was offered the job of Ukraine Defense Minister, which many would consider concerning.

Trump never asked Ukraine to dig up dirt on a political rival. That is something Adam Schiff claimed happened, was never corroborated by any ACTUAL witnesses, and has been debunked by those actually on the call (including the Ukrainian president) and from released transcripts. Vindman had no legal, or moral high ground in this situation, and he was fired for being the useless toad that he is.

I do not think you live in the United States. Because in the United States it is commonly known that there are three branches of government. The elected president has absolute control over one of them. Not the congress. Trump has had the power to fire Vindman for any rhyme or reason he felt the need to do so since the founding of this nation. An authoritarian government, like North Korea, would have the power to fire members of congress or the SC, and Trump does not have that power.

Is it difficult for you to follow conversations? You missed the entire context. FYI the founding fathers would be very alarmed at the state of the government today. In part because of your acceptance of trump's authoritarianism. The created checks and balances for a reason. And Washington warned against political parties in his farewell address. They also added impeachment because they didn't want an out of control president like we have today. And while he does have control over who works in those positions......he is also using revenge as the motivator. If you think he would have fired Vindman if he wasn't subpoenaed to testify then you are naïve. We have protections for whistleblowers In this country as well and he violated them. The rule of law does indeed apply to the president.

I'm not sure how historical fact became a political debate. That's why I liken it to climate change, a scientific fact becoming a political debate. Silly all around.
