The Florida senate race is becoming one of the more interesting stories from the midterms. As more votes are counted, Scott has seen his lead diminish to .2 percent. Scott has now filed suit in response.

"The National Republicans Senatorial Committee joined Scott on Thursday to file suit against both Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes and Palm Beach Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher. Scott alleges that the supervisors have violated federal and state laws by failing to provide information to officials."

Snipes herself has had issues in previous elections.

"A judge ruled in May of this year that Snipes had illegally destroyed votes during a 2016 election and Scott said at the time he would send experts to Broward for the upcoming elections, according to the Sun Sentinel."

The final vote count is expected by end of day Saturday, but the lawsuit could complicate things if the count doesn't break Scott's way.

Florida Governor race? Rick Scott ran for Senate, not as governor.

But yes both races seem to be going into recount but considering that the most a recount has moved is 0.02% which was around 1200 votes which funny enough was in Florida. So Both races look to go to both Republican.

Nelson is, on the other hand, if it keeps on Scott as the winner, going to sue the ass out of everyone to keep the Senate seat on democratic hands since not since 1934 has a non-presidential party lost as many seats.

So not sure what your point is here?

@Jacanuk: "Florida Governor race? Rick Scott ran for Senate, not as governor."

Correct, slip of the tongue. My apologies.

"So not sure what your point is here?"

This race just got really interesting. Close count, claims of fraud from both Scott and Trump, an official with a married background, and now suits filed to effect the outcome.

Stay tuned!

Ah, the real voter fraud comes from Republicans. No surprise there.

Scott introduced additional legal measures:

"Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) filed two emergency motions in Palm Beach and Broward County courts on Sunday, ramping up legal efforts as recounts began in the state's contested Senate race.

The motions request that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and county sheriffs impound and secure all voting machines, ballots and tabulating devices when they are not in use.

Scott's campaign also filed a complaint in Broward County court asking a judge to bar the county canvassing board from including ballots counted after a noon Saturday deadline in the final vote tally."

I want to know why a woman who has previously illegally destroyed votes was allowed to be in charge of this.

I want to see evidence of wrong doing in this situation.

Most of the time, if not all of the time, this wide-spread voter fraud turns out to be false.

Mail-in ballots have to be received by 11/16 to be counted. So Scott wants those votes thrown in the trash. He'll probably win anyway, but actively trying to keep legitimate votes from being counted is a trash move.

Looks like Trump doesn't want veteran votes to count for this election. LINK

Trump is okay with Russian votes but not okay with vet votes. Trumpettes need to ask themselves if they are truly Americans at this point.

Trump has been claiming the elections are rigged since before he won the president election in 2016. Since he won, does that mean it is rigged in his favour?

The GOP and Trump simply don't want people to vote, plain as day. This isn't even arguable anymore. If any election doesn't go their way, 'Fraud!'.

They're actively trying to silence voters and undermine the integrity of election directly.

Oh the irony of conservatives claiming liberals are stealing elections... Especially in Florida. That is rich.

But you are probably right on that. The right are definitely hypocrites.

@Lach0121: Well, and yet Broward County forgot to report in a new vote count which gave Scott a 1k bigger lead until 2 min after the deadline.

That county needs some serious rework and that women in charge should be fired and never be allowed to work in any election again.

I'm surprised how prevalent suppressing votes is in US history.
