On the London Bridge a car has driven through 20 people killing several. Suspect yelled "for Allah". We may never know his true intentions.

I could only imagine how bad this would have been in the US with how easy it is to get a gun.

Anyway, some societies just won't ever mix. The British should not be so accepting of Muslims. Religion is a plague, especially Islam.

I work at ldn bridge, 5 mins walk away from where this is happening. im getting tired of this shit.

Theyre fucking animals. The Qaran needs to be changed, it has no place in civilised society with killing and stoning bullshit.

There are reasons they are doing it. The arent "perverting" the religion, theyre doing what is said in the book. The book is fucked

Islam is a blight and should be eradicated. I think it's time the British people take action. Speeches and candlelight vigils are not going to stop this and the politicians won't do a damn thing. After this attack my tolerance is in the negatives.

Sigh, not again

But at least these are inept and impromptu attacks so not a lot of people got hurt.

But not again and how lucky London has a mayor who takes it serious and don't just think this is just part of being a londoner.... or wait , oh no,,,,,,,,,

Is this one a confirmed terrorisy attack?

A similar thing happened in Melbourne, Autralia about 6 months ago. People claimed that the attacker shouted things about Allah, but the attacker turned out to just be a run-of-the-mill nutcase criminal.

Would have been better if you created a better title for this thread OP since no one knows who committed the attack yet.I hope everyone affected by this attack is doing okay.

@Planeforger: One could possibly be dismissed as a lone wolf that is insane, two or more happening at the same time is difficult to dismiss as a coincidence. Either way, we need to stand by for more information, and after the leaks from the attack that happened after the Ariana Grande concert, they're probably going to try and keep the information more secure.

So not sure how much different the title should be?

Ehmm, no one

This is most likely a random copycat after Manchester.

Luckily the attack seems to be a bunch of trash deciding to be even more useless than normal. And not a preplanned attack.

I know. I don't see how my comment was disrespecting them. That wasn't my intention, but perhaps you're right. Not the best time, but then again, it's not really the time for Trump to exploit their deaths to justify his travel ban either.

And predictably the conservatives use this as an excuse to censor the internet.

Because as we all know the real issue is online porn not that education, the police and other security services budgets have been drastically cut.

We need boots on the ground fighting these fuckers and eradicating them everywhere they have a foothold, while going after their finances. They want a full out war? We need to give it to them. They'd not stand a chance.

Makes sense to fight them in the middle east when the problem is home grown terrorists.

So no we do not need "boots on the ground"

I'm not talking about solving the problem as that's impossible, but of giving them a taste of their own medicine and making a statement that their existence and ideology will not be tolerated.

@Solaryellow: The conservative party have been pushing for stronger regulation of the internet for years under the guise of combating pornography. Now they're pushing the same law under the guise of combating terrorism.

Theresa May didn't even hesitate to exploit the attack to forward her agenda and still insists that the cuts she's made to security services had no impact on preventing terrorism. Pretty sickening

The whole problem with fundamentalist Islam is it seeks death. Especially by or to an infidel, this is the highest martyrdom. Aside from suicide bombings, there is no better way to get a golden ticket to god. People need to realize, they take this shit seriously. Its not like American Christians.

In terms of effective military forces, the only people who have seem to be able to contain them a bit, is oddly enough the female military of Kurdistan. This is because fundamentalists believe that its a sin to be killed by a woman........oh yah, and Saddam through a totalitarian regime and mass murder. He contained them.

Years of a conservative majority government does that. It's a big shame, I like my country but too many people are voting against their interests and now many of the things that make it a great place to live are under attack.

@Myron117:

How could you determine that in Quran said to treats Muslim to destruct / kill peoples ? it is a radical thing to threat on a particular religion dude, if you see around in other part of the world there are also having the unpredictable & pathetic things, Still UK police force investigating about the matter. So you should have to precaution on your words & stop racism against other religions.

@melisajones: its not a "radical" thing. It is stated in tbe book to kill non believers. Its like in the old testiment that says stone people to death for working on a Sunday or stone people to death for adultery.

Would you call that "radicalism" or just doing what the book says? Unfortunately no one is distorting these people.

The religious text is the problem and im sick of people ignoring that fact. If people genuienly read the qaran or the bible through and through they will realise how uncivilised these texts are.

People are ignoring it because it's not the case.

The problem is not the book, the problem is that people take the text as gospel.

And as to the books themselves, of course they are uncivilised, after all they are written in a different time, because the got a foothold.
