Hopefully the review/gaming sites will drop this point--or grade--system in the future because it often seems arbitrary and should not be used to judge if a game is good or not. Currently, Kotaku has the best review system because all they do is highlight what works in the game and what does not. If every site did something like this, then threads like this would not exist (people arguing over an arbitrary score and claiming bias).

By the way, what you posted is not proof or evidence of any bias. Also, do not use Play magazine in the future; I do not know if they ever give a game a score under a 9.

Here are some reasons:

They prefer 360 - anyone that thinks other wise truly are gullable

They love online games - PS3 don't offer many of these (Resistance 8.6, Warhawk 8.5......RBSV 9.0 with an atrocious online play....Uncharted - measly 8.0.

They whole the PS3 to a higher standard

They need their advertisement money - (Kane & Lynch Scandal)

Worst of all, its only their opinion...too bad people are so easily manipulated.

No. You'll know when it happens because all scores will drop below 4...

Of course they are biased, but didn't they give Haze the highest score out of all the others? (6.0 compared to 4s and 5s)

Because the reviewers at Gamespot like to root for the underdog (i.e. Xbox 350) ...I call it the 350 because it falls short of perfection unlike a 360 circle.

Knock off the conspiracy theory crap guys. Honestly, there have been very few top shelf PS3 exclusives released yet. The PS3's time is coming. MGS4 will most likely get a 9 or greater. Wait for the next FF game, Resistance 2, or God of War 3. The 360 got a head start and some pretty damn good exclusives, but the PS3 will have more exclusives soon. I do think Uncharted was underrated here, but that could just be a matter of opinion when dealing with an 8-10 hour game. (Note: About the same length as the original MGS)kyrissbp82

GS is a joke that can't be taken seriously anymore. M$ just has more money to burn and that's why they're up their arses. If they are biased towards 360 then there a bunch of a$$clowns i had all 3 of the next gen systems still have 2 (PS3 & Wii) and 360 is the worst only game i liked for 360 was Mass Effect rest couldn't keep up at all. Alot of these ppl r Halo nerds as well which is why they love Xbox so much shouldn't get worked up about it PS3 is gona blow 360 away alot of the great exclusive PS3 games r coming and make 360 look like crap like ps2 did to Xbox...

I don't think they are biased at all, but I found your list funny because when they are under the average, it's by a good amount of points. But when they are above the average review, it's by .1 or .2. Again, I don't think they are biased, just funny.
