Who would get a ps4 if one came out

If it came out now? Probably would begin to save up for one, but I wouldn't be happy about it. It's really not needed, at all

Alot will change in gaming by the time a new wave of consoles come out. The current gen has alot of life left in it still and the PS3 has not even maximized its potential.

I would want one but at this rate I expect the PS4 to cost $999.99.

This gen has taught me why I shouldn't buy systems at launch. If a ps4 did come out I would probably wait till they cut the price and make a slim version.

Eventually down the road but it's too soon for a Playstation 4 to come out now. We are only in Playstation 3's 3rd year life span & we've got 7 more to go (According to Sony's 10 year plan). It was launched 11/17/2006 so technically it has been 3 years & 4months give or take a few days.

Absolutely I would. If it came out now probably not, but when I had the money and/or quality games were out for it then heck yeah. I love me some Sony consoles.

The great majority of game franchises that I care about are only available on PlayStation consoles, so of course I would buy the next PlayStation.

Heck no, I do not feel like camping out for another 3 days, and spending another 750 $.

since sony is havign difficulties making quality titles such as gt quick enough for ps3 what makes you want a ps4 in a hurry , it took 3 yrs plus to finally get somthing really worth talkin about

it would be the final nail in the coffin if sony did ps4 right this minute,

remember what happened to sega once they started rushing one console after another , or how about microsoft with their 360 -yes it held the lead for what a year but that didnt exclude many problems either,

so

its rush and your most likely on the verge of losing due to better competition hardware , just like wii and ps3 are better then 360 reliability wise also some cases game wise, more repspect , , etc,

right now, releasing a PS4 would be a bad idea. Look at the PS2, it's still having titles from time to time. And it's been out for 10 years. I think the ps3 will last longer than the ps2. More than 10 years, so far it's been 4 years. There's no need for sony to release a ps4. maybe in the next 3-5 years.. a small possibility but who knows ?

the only reason i wouldnt get any new console is because i didnt have money

if i did, id get any and all consoles out

and the ps3 rocks so the ps4 will hopefully rock my socks off

It depends what the PS4 launch games were but to be honest I'd stick with the PS3 as long as PSN is still working on the system I would get a PS4 when the price would drop.

PS4 is not coming out until 2013 at the earliest. IF PS3 continues to sell well then I can see PS4 out by 2015.

Also PS2 soldin high numbersfor7 years and is still selling well after 9 years. Sony is just now making money and will be in the black for years to come. So why would they be in a hurry to dump that for a new console early that will not add much.

Now on the PC games look better than console on high end systems. But do they blow away console games?? I give it several years untill games become lessened on PS3 and thus PS4 is needed.

I would but i would still keep the PS3 and the current gen-games, otherwise i would be forever looking forward to downloading them - lol -clearly Sony loves making it difficult for their consumers... Even if it comes out in 2017, around that time downloading a game really shouldn't be more difficult than downloading a music album, so i cannot imagine them going into this era with the same marketing planuntil ps5 in 2024!
