Is it that big of a difference from HD?

My bro had an Issue with his PS3 and his Standard TV. The PS3 told him NO for the Standard Def.
That's when we got an HDTV so we could play with High Quality and the PS3 wouldn't say no to us.
There is a big difference, but I do 99% 0f my 360 and PS3 gaming in SD.
We have a 1080i tv in the basement, but I like playing in my room. I also play FPSs better online in SD. I don't know why.
I used to play, now I do. For most shooters, theres no difference. But for burnout, I crashed half as much on my HD TV
When I play Guitar Hero or something for fun, I prefer HD.
But when I play seriously, whether it be some multiplayer or when I want to do a speed run, and I want to do good, I play on SD.
I don't know if it is because I can see everything on SD, or because it is easier for me to process everything happening on the screen, but I prefer SD over HD when it comes to serious gaming.
im the exact opposite, if i just playing a fighting game or rockband i could settle for SD, but if i wanna pwn online in COD or K2, i gotta go HD, i just see everything more clearly. When I play Guitar Hero or something for fun, I prefer HD.

Actually, thinking about it, I lie.
I prefer HD way the hell over SD.
When I think of HD I think of the 65 in my family room, but that's just the size, and I can't game on that monster.
But I remember playing on a 32 and I played wonderfully, even on CoD multiplayer.
So yeah, HD > SD anyday.
Big difference.
ill only use my ps3 on a SDTV to watch dvds, once you game on a HDTV, going back is not an option.
