Who is buying SOCOM?

I might get the downloadable version like Warhawk because I am lazy and I don't want to swap discs very often to play it , but I noticed that the headset looks pretty good and I only have a wired usb one so I might by the disc version of the game to upgrade my mic. I also noticed that Gamestop is going to be selling the headset on its own , and they have it listed for $50 ! Is this confirmed ?

Yeah thats confirmed and official. So really I am only spending an extra $10 on the game. Good deal.

i never really thought that online only games could be that great, i went on a limb and bught warhawk when it was released and me and my friends have so much fun with it, theres been patches of months where i don't play the game, but when I get back to it, I'm addicted again, and the fact that they keep updating it just makes it better.

SOCOM has been a playstation fan favourite, I personally have never played it, but know many that enjoyed the franchise on the PS2. The video's look really fun and entertaining and I will probably end up buying this, seeing as the Headset is bundled.

I'm just hoping it'll have more people using headsets. Some online games are too quiet.

Trust me dude on the other Socom games you would always get someone talking even if it's that "high pitched lil kid"

Until I saw this thread I didn't even know SOCOM came with the bundle package. My Warhawk mic is starting to get beat up from all the CoD4 use so I think I'll go ahead and get the hard bundle.

socom, lbp, resistence, then killzone 2.....thats all i need

If you were a Socom vet like myself you would know that they don't deliver garbage, the deliver the best online gaming ever.

I'm still on the fence about this one I'll have to see some reviews first. I'm trying to keep an open mind but from the videos I've seen it looks like garbage. jdc6305
