I picked up my PS3 80 gig with PS/PS2 Emulation and the 4 USB and SD and Flash Cards readers and all that crap way back in December of 2007, right before the model was replaced with the one they have out now.
Curious what you fellow PS3 players are running on out there now. When did you decide to get one?
I have both versions of the 80GB PS3's.Its funny how many people have the 60GB model, it shows how many people brought the PS3 on its release, or close. The 60gb model is nearly impossible to buy these days, and the worst of it is that it was the most finalised version in my eyes. Think about it, its got the chrome finish, 4 usb slots, and backward compatibility with PS2 (Most of the time). Yer they did improve the controllers by including dual shock on the new consoles, but now the PS3 looks cheap with the matte finish, rather than the chrome. (IM NOT STARTING A WAR BY THE WAY, ALL PS3's OWN) =-]L-U-K-E-Dthe first 80 gig where the same as the 60 gig
Only 40Gb available when I bought mine in March 08. Was disappointed with the lack of features at the time, but now I don't care 'cause I love it. Treated it to a 250Gb hdd a couple of months back.
