Which do you consider to be the PS3's most underrated game?

For me, Dark Sector is PS3's Gears of War. It's visually beautiful. It has great gameplay mechanics. And it has fun puzzles and boss fights. It may not be a perfect game, but then again, no game is perfect.

Its a bit odd, and sometimes hard to follow, but there's a very cool fantasy world under the bad translation, and plus, its very nice looking graphically, original, great art design, and fun to play. It also has the best use of the SixAxis of any PS3 game I've played.

DarkSector is multiplat, So I wouldn't count that in..

I'll second (third?) that one. The story was really quite good, it just had a rather drawn-out opening. For those with the willingness (or simple stubborness (eg:me)) to stick with it, they were rewarded with something that, all in all, was interesting and well told. I also thought that the idea of using/training other creatures to attack for me was an interesting and fresh mechanic, and collecting them was fun as well (and yes, I know, I played that "other" game too. Point stands, not many companies have taken this route).

This isn't exclusive, but Orange Box. Just because the PS3 version had a few faults, everyone said it was terrible. I think it is one of the best FPS' of all time.

I can't really think of underrated exclusives right now. Most of them have been quite strong.

Motorstorm was amazing... especially since it came out so soon after launch. I was so happy when it came out - it was awesome. I guess if you are a new PS3 owner, it won't be as good now. But definitly a great game.

Technically, it's not underrated. It's underrated by GS but it's approve by others.

Devil May Cry 4. C'mon, an 8.0!? The game was truly amazing, some of the best graphics on the PS3, sharp control, fun gameplay, variety, fast-paced action, amazing boss fights and SO MUCH MORE! Wow, they had a bit of repetitiveness (To me, it didn't feel repetitive), but that is no reason to bring such a great game down to an 8. It deserved AT LEAST 9.0 IMO. The story had a few plot holes, but arn't those Plot-holes a great sign for DMC5? Point is, DMC4 is underrated, 'nuff said.jjgamer03

I think Motorstorm is overrated.

I agree the core gameplay is fun but the game failed to be fun for me.

sorry if your think I wrong but originally I would have said MGS4 because I love the series so far and my mates are not one bit interested, where as on her people do like it as you can see by scanning the forums.

although on the other hand if not I would say (you may still disagree) but Assassins Creed for me because I have seen so many posts on here of people saying its s**t and returned the game etc. but I really like the game, the graphics are pretty good 9/10 on the whole, and okay so maybe not the best replay value, but on the whole I still would say Assassins Creed is the most in my opinion
