so what the heck is the deal??? After this stupid update i can't play this dumb game no more....the screen goes black and nothing happens......is anyone in this same situation.....is scea ever planning to fix this lil issue ??? ...need some answers
Before you update your Motorstorm, you should've deleted your old patch, v1.1 I believe. Then go in-game and update it to the newer version.Lastly, you go to the Playstation Store and download the Time Attack mode. Hope that helps.
Yea the same thing happened to me after downloading the Time Attack mode. I thought I was doomed! You were supposed to update to v.1.2 before downloading it. Just delete your old 1.1 patch and try again.
In the XMB, go to Game Save Utility (or something like that) and it should be there. Go over it and press triangle and it'll give you an option to delete.

It's the Game Data folder, actually- that's where the PS3 puts the files it has to install for games. Delete the version 1.1 update from there and you should be fine.
