Whats the worst ending youve ever had playing a game?

Ive had quite a few since I started, but ive also been gaming since the first atari!

1 = Alien 3 -SNES (thats it....its over. is all it said!)

2 = Doom - N64 (dumb game worse ending)

3 = Assassins creed - PS3 ( not that it was horrible but it left the story incomplete and youve gotta wait till part 2 )

out of all my ps3 games i would say

Cool last level, bad ending. But I question what he says in the end. Almost as if I cant tell if its a good thing that they have it now?

Fable had really no end. You just kinda stayed old. Depending on what you choose to do "the choice was the ending."

But I agree, either way it was kinda eghh.

We talked about this one the other day. And We agreed that. Fable had tuns of cool stuff. And everything was fun to do. Everything that was outside of the main story. The one thing it lacked was a cool main game. The main missions were lacking, the main story was lacking. But everying else was vary cool. Besides the game itself.

Yeah, after that monologue thing, it just left you with a world to do whatever. I would have no problem with it, except for the fact that the ending was so abrupt and strangely placed.

Sorry to say MGS1 Twin Snakes, personally I find riding off on a ski-doo was somewhat lame, and I kept screaming at Liquid to just keel over and die.

Oh Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction. It was funny, and it's apparently nicely tied into Clanks game, but the boss and the over all ending is a little Meh

the worst beyond any doubt is the Jurassik Park (SNES) ending OMG!!!!! collect the F...ing 99 eggs to find out that the ending was a huge CONGRATULATIONS on the screen i remember when i turned off the SNES and didnt touch it for.. like 2 months...

mgs2. it was very abrupt to me, but i guess its alright mgs4 will be better then any real ending mgs2 could have had.

It was such a wast of time.

The endings for Ratchet and Clank:FToD, AC, and Halo 2 really rather annoyed me. They're all obviously built to tie in nicely with another game, but after such great stories along the way, to leave them so open in the end is simply disappointing (and with Halo 2, it was rather jarring. It just ends all of a sudden, like they ran out of money and went "well darn, send it off to the consumer anyways. We'll finish it later". I mean seriously, wtf was that?!)

GOTHIC 3 FOR PC! Worst game ending I've ever experienced. It gets you all hyped up to go into this unknown world and it just goes black and the main character says "We opened the portal to the unknown land, and left this world... forever."

For the first time in my life, I cried because of a video game. Not out of joy, but I had spent a whole week NON STOP to try and beat the game, and this is the ending I got. Watch it for yourself.

ogre battle 64 - awesome game overall but the ending felt me unsatisfied.

uncharted- it jsut ended so fast and the declining action just dropped in an instant. i didnt like it

oblivion- same as uncharted

grand theft auto 4 didnt like how the game ended but it did show how not everybody acccomplishes the american dream.mickey09

I mean the last missions on GTAs are allways EPIC. this was pretty good until the

chopper jump, which looked so cheesy and shooting a lame as gangster who was unimportant. When you killed big smoke in SA, while the whole city went into total chaos and tenpenny died. It all felt incredibly awesome and like you really came a long way. GTA4 just didnt let you make any more missions after this.

But that was never the topic. People talk more when they should say less. Movies push a lot of effects, but should focus on a better script and less flare.

For PS3 probably Rainbow Six Vegas, I'm a bit of a fan of cliffhanger endings to get you hyped for the next one and everything, but this was just too much, I hated how it ended.

For PS2 Killzone had a terrible cliffhanger ending it's like you get to this one point in a level and then they talk acting like it's your next objective in the level and then all of a sudden you see credits come up.

I think we're all forgetting about Ghostbusters for the NES....Teh_Solid_Snack
