I dont think either is scary... both are dark and eerie but not really scary. Both are awesome cant go wrong with either.
What's more scary? I'd have to say Dead Space. Very eery space vibe (kinda like the movie aliens). Bioshock to me wasn't scary at all.
In terms of better story? Kind of a tough one, since I didn't care much for the Bioshock story, but Dead Space doesn't have a good story either imo, so if I had to choose then probably Bioshock.
Dead Space, the only scary bit in Bioshock is before you get any plasmids as you feel so vulnerable.
Wow, it looks like people can't read at all. :( The TC changed the question to which has a better story and people still want to talk about how scary the games are.ExoticAnimalHe should have changed the title or his main post. As long as those prompts are still up, it's completely acceptable to stay on those topics.

That's one of the many things I love about BioShock. In the beginning you're like "OMG what was that noise? Someone's here.... ok... I can do this... I hope" then after a while it becomes more of "I hear someone talking... alright I should be able to take them out with a bit of effort.." then when you get to the end of the game you're thinking "Another room of splicers and a couple big daddies? Psh, this sin't even going to slow me down!"
Oh, and as far as scary games... what little I played of Fatal Frame was scary as hell. Never played all the way through it though.
Dead Space. By far. It's atmosphere does not fade./ Bioshocks does. It is mroe challenging and heart pounding with a much better storylooking a good story but scary game, so which one!?

Well I should rephrase this, whats the better story, thanks guys.SiKh22For a better story, get Bioshock. For Dead Space it's a good story to the game (even better if you watch Dead Space : Downfall). But if you're looking for a good scare, Dead Space is definitely up your street. Although Bioshock does have it's moments, it's the story that makes it shine.
Like the above said, there are much scarier games out there, like Amnesia.
But if I had to choose, then Dead Space.
Bioshock isn't really scary though it does have some creepy moments; Dead Space is scarier than it though
