I have a PSP 1000, back all the way from 2005.
I would think the most people would have a PSP 3000 though, since they are so cheap now and are the most available.
But let's see: which one do ya'll own?

The same as you. A PSP phat.
I actually have two, a 1000 and 2000, but for a very good reason.
I'd had my 1000 for two and a half years. One day I checked for a firmware update and left it to do its stuff. All of a sudden the screen just went black, the power light went orange and so I ended up with a bricked PSP.
So, having the huge collection of games that I did, I thought it wiser to get a new, used PSP-2000, which I did for a reasonable 100 euros.
I still had my bricked PSP, which I was loathe to get rid of, and I found out that it was possible to modify the battery and boot the thing without a working firmware - so I bought the battery hardware for a measly 10 euros, installed a custom firmware and then put the official firmware back on. Voilà . Two working PSPs.
My girlfriend now plays Everybody's Golf and Outrun 2006 on the old one.
I'm not sure that's strictly true. UMD videos were considered a flop because customers had little incentive to buy them, given that they could only play them on the PSP, and that the DVD offered better value for money. UMDs for games have been successful enough, with the only real criticism directed towards games that access the UMD drive constantly, draining the battery.Launch model PSP 2000. It's in bad condition now thanks to the people who "repaired" my UMD drive and I want to switch to the Go because UMDs are always considered a flop.
Of a side note:Yay 1000 posts! ^_^
