What is the worst game you have ever played?

I don't know if they are the "worst" games ever, but Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude and The Bard's Tale are two very boring, very tedious, very horrible titles.

In addition, Virtua Fighter 4 is probably my worst fighting game experience of all time. I could only stand about 15 minutes of it.

I also hate anything with "Tom Clancy's" in the beginning ... as well as all of the Valve/Half-Life games, and the TimeSplitters series. These are all titles that I couldn't even bring myself to finish.

EDIT: Also, the original Phantasy Star for Master System. Both the visuals and the level design were just so horrible I simply couldn't stand it. The sequels were VAST improvements over the original. The way the gameplay was set up, as well as pretty much all of the text-based dialogue, were also very, very bad.

At least half of the Zelda, Metroid, and Shinobi games eventually get boring and repetitive to me. Some are hits, but others are misses.

The worst game I've played is an abomination called "Slamscape" for the PS1. It was so bad that I left it in the trunk of my car because I didn't want it in my house. A friend later took the game for free and I still felt like I got the better end of the deal.

On PS3? Probably the first Sonic or Golden Axe

it has been a good gen.

Fallout NV I never finished, was probably the most annoying game.

GTA IV although good, I never could get into...
Gran Turismo 5 was also a waste of money.

Mine would be Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects for Nintendo DS( Yet I still plan on buying this for Nintendo Gamecube)

I also really hated Soul Calibur Legends for Nintendo Wii( I love the Soul Calibur series, kind of a shame $50 was wasted on this, glad I didn't buy it.)

Since this PS3 boards, can't say I particular bought a game I truly hated yet, but if I have to pick one I'm picking Terminator Salvation or Duke Nukem Forever( Wasn't expecting the game to be that good anyway, but I paid the full $60 anyway.)

Lost planet............... good gracious...this game was BAAAAD.

Homefront. Sold it and put the money towards Crysis 2 which came out the following week.

Carnival Games: MiniGolf, cheap, thought itd be fun with friends. Oh no, 2 weeks later, both the Wii and the game were gone from my house.

Spyro 4: Enter the Dragonfly. Horrible, horrible game in just about every aspect.

yeah and the ridiculous gun customization was fun too; diamond-studded gold-plated shield on front of ur machine gun? why not!

Lair and Heavenly Sword. Still trying to figure out how Bayonetta could have disappointed anyone except for people who genuinely don't like fast-paced, smooth action games.

Ever to appear on a Playstation console then its Spice World. What an embarrassing game.

ET on the Atari 2600, completely unplayable.
