Hmm, I am thinking if there is a PSP2 announcement at all between now and 2012, then it will be TGS this year. Im not sure why, but Sony like waiting til TGS for hardware announcements, thats where playstation move got its name and thats where the PS3 slim was announced. I believe but not sure it is August?
