Is there any reason the 80GB model is worth $100 more then the 60GB? I don't want the game included and I am thinking the 60's won't be arround much longer.

You're right about supplies running out- all remaining 60 GB systems are out in the various store supply chains. Once they run out it'll be the 80 GB only.

To be honest, I don't see the value of the 80 GB system, especially if you don't want Motorstorm (it's well worth playing though). Get yourself a 60 GB while you still can.

not really, it's just you get the game, valued at $60 new, and the 20gb more space. However, the 60gb has better backwards compatiblity and since you don't want the game, the 60gb is a much better option, get it while you can.

take the 60gb ps3 because the 80gb won't have the backwards play emotion chip for the ps2 and ps1 games, so get the 60gb while you can plus you can get a external hdd way cheaper if you want more hdd

I don´t REALLY see any reasons to buy the 80gig version. I mean, u can buy even aa bigger HDD with less than 100$. And thare´s the Motorstorm... Yeah it´s kinda worth of playing, but it pretty much sucks a big time after u´ve played it thru. So 60 gig, and u can buy some GOOD games with the 100$.

dont waste your money on the ps3. buy a wii

the ps3 is just to expensive. staraight and simple who cares if the graphisc are so clean you can see the lines on peoples faces.(why would they have to make a price cut so soon?!?!)its not worth 600-700$. the wii will be the front runner HANDS DOWN! (xbox 360 will never get its bugs out)

I would say get the 80G. only for the simple fact that it has newer internal components such as some "improvements" on the bluetooth. myself and a lot of others have had some issues with the bluetooth controllers loosing connection for 3-4 seconds which is a real game killer. I haven't read any posts complaining about the 80G model. as far as backwards compatibility I really don't think they would release a newer version that would play any more/less old games compared to the 60G. If there is a compatibility issue I'm sure it's nothing an update wouldn't fix.
