The Home Thread

I dunno if there is already one so please say if there is.

And i'm not sure if its just me but i kinda get bored when i see all the threads saying what is Home and when is Home coming out etc.

So i just thought that if there was a thread specifically for Home, the people that aren't sure what it is can ask here and also people could share opinions of what they think of it so far and if they'll like it.

Let me know what you think etc etc.

When I first heard about it I was sceptical, dont know why but it all sounded so far-fetched. However, after seeing that 30 minutes of content im pretty hyped. The possibilities really seem endles. I came up with some ideas:

-I know theres going to be trophees, but wouldnt it be cool if you could unlock furniture by playing games?

-Give game producers/ the media some space in the game. 2 examples:

1. Give EA a warehouse, where u can chat with others, watch videos of new games, let EA add possibilities

2. Give a small space to media, like Gamespot, where youve got a direct connection to the forums, IRC chat, watch reviews and so on.

I know these are just ideas but its what ive come up with in a few minutes.

I like your thinking about different developers/publishers having their own space, although there must be limits so that home doesnt just become one big advertising space.

Honestly, I'm just not having a great time with Home. I find it somewhat boring. Hopefully it will get much better when there are thousands of users. The games in it are quite unrealistic. Pool for instance, If you tap the cue ball it goes really fast, and no matter how softly you hit it when the cue ball hits the other balls they go insanely fast. I wish bowling would incorporate the six axis lke wii bowling. So far it's just interesting. In the 3 or 4 moths ive had it, I've only logged in like 8 times or so.klarius

Yeah I saw that in one of the videos for pool, the physics looked really messed. Just give them feedback about it...

I want to see a 3-D amazon store. Sony has talked a lot about commercial advertising, no doubt this is the kind of stuff they are talking about. Better yet, lets seeApple team up with Sony. That would be a kick in Microsoft's @$$.

Yeah i think that would be cool even if they didn't team up so to speak just had increased functions that relate between the apple things and ps3.
