Lmfao, it wasn't that bad was it? He said something about a "super-sexy" game... Could you even concider shadow of the colossus "super-sexy"? I like the game but I'm not sure if I'd go that far.

uh look how MGS4 is dominating the PS3 sales. your post was a fail sorry dude. Sony is definitely not desperate, they have plenty of good exclusives that have sold well and has the most impressive line-up of upcoming exclusives as well. so please do some research before you come on here trolling or something.

I hate to rain on your parade. But I used to own a 360 and let me tell you, GOW is a much better exclusive than MGS4, mainly the multiplayer both online and off.

Don't get me wrong, I think Gears of War is an awesome game but I think Metal Gear Solid 4 is best exclusive so far for this gen and I think it's a much better game than Gears of War.

Singleplayer wise, MGS4 might blow GoW away. But multiplayer wise theres just no comparison.

Don't forget Gran Turismo series. Those always manage to sell like crazy.

I dunno why people allways compare gears of war or halo to games like metal gear solid or lets say god of war it killes me.

Don't get me wrong i like those games but imo gears of war feels like any other 3d person shooter same goes for halo but i mean look at god of war or mgs series I think that titels like that define AAA titels ain't i right?

By the way shadow of the colossus rocked on ps2, can't wait to se what ps3 will deliver. I mean we are allready seeing good graphics on games like MGS4 or maybe uncharted so just imagine how this game would be when it comes out.

I disagree with the GoW part. GoW basically took the 3rd person shooter genre and made it better. As for Halo 3, I have to agree with you, I didn't see anything new with that game.

I couldn't agree more. Particularly since Dragon Quest jumped ship, Dark Cloud 3 is my most anticipated sequel for the PS3.

Nonetheless, I'm convinced, given Sony's recent track record, that the announcement will be something terribly underwhelming. But it's all good. They're releasing a Lumines game on PSN this Fall, which is pretty much the only game I need, lol.

i wish it was a new sly game, jak, dark cloud, dragon quest , and or some thingother than shooters

Boy, you take the meaning of the word "Fanboy" to a whole new level.

With the number of games supposed to be named by Sony this week we may get a few surprises. Jaffe, for one, has been coy over his current post "Calling.." project, Kojima's been working on something else too(and not supposedly anotherZOE game either)and the guy who did Resi 1,2 and 4 is involved with a couple(one with the killer7 fella according to OPM)and there's bound to be more besides. IDK what Naughty Dog are doing-whether the rumours that they've already got well into an Uncharted sequel are true or if, as they've said once or twice there's gonna be a PS3 Jak&Daxter installment coming.

Honestly the surprise , big , secret game should be something completely new from the way we've been led but many of the wishes people have listed could be possiblities imo, for announcement soon.

I personally would like to see a new Legend of Dragoon game. Don't gotta be sequel, much like the FF series.ForsbergFan21

Shadow of colossus 2 is actually ICO a game made in 2001 by team ICO(hence the name) SoC was a prequil, however the team is in the middle of making a new game as we speak(accourding to wiki)
