Skate 3 is out now! You buying?

I have always been a fan of skateboarding games and Tony Hawk games suck now so I rely on Skate to get me through. I loved the demo so I am going to pick this up even though I have the other 2. All great games.

So the question remains: Are you going to buy Skate 3?

No, i played the demo and it was alright. I will be saving my money to get UFC 2010.

I'll be getting it but it isn't out until Friday here.

Purely a rental for me at best.

I'm picking it up later since I just got Super Street Fighter IV and I'm going on deployment this week. Maybe Friday depending on what time I leave. I read in Game Informer the single player campaign just isn't as satisfying as the online co-op. IDK, I might just pass this one altogether cause even though I played and liked the demo, just the fact that a good chunk of the game requires you to play online (when this won't be an option for me on deployment) has got me steering away from it.

It sucks. It feels nothing like the the first and second in my opinion. Every game up to and including THUG2 still own my heart. :P Those games left a lasting impression on me. Skate I just forgot about.

Im getting skate 3 only because i didnt play the other two skate games and i love skateboarding games.

Yeah, already pre-ordered. Don't have Skate or Skate 2, so I'm crossing my fingers it'll be worth it. The online co-op looks awesome.

I played the demo, and it was good, but I'm not a skateboarding fan, so I won't be buying it

ive been playing it for the past 2 days and it is a good improvement graphics wise( on the ps3 versoin) but it doesnt offer much new from skate 2.Altho the ablity to place objects anywhere is nice.

Ill w8 till it goes cheaper. I think console games are too expensive especially when its just the same game engine again.

Bought Skate 3 already!! its great so far.. my only complaints are that the people still don't get the hell out of the way when you're trying to skate a certain spot or get a photo.. and that a bunch of the challenges weren't made with hardcore mode in mind which make some of them impossible without switching it to normal...PoisoN_Facecam0

No I won't be getting this game-- not till it drops to 20 dollars. Skating games aren't my thing and really I'd only buy it just to add to the collection.

Nope, I won't be buying Skate 3. Only because there are too many other good games coming out this month. 3D Dot Game Heroes, Red Dead Redemption, Lost Planet 2, Modnation Racers. These games are my priority :D

I'm never buying a sports games that gets a sequel on a yearly basis.

I am going to buy Red Dead Redemption first, then about a month later a will probably pick it up. I don't want to get it if i am not going to play it right away.
