To me this looks like some cheap photoshoped box art

I honestly don't see how this game will have a single redeeming quality. I think they reached the point where the RE name should be dropped, as it'll probably be an OK action game and people would likely be somewhat more interested in it. That said, I don't think that box art is good in general, at least SH still has decent box art (even if the games aren't up to par with 2 and 3).
I think Capcom has stopped trying by now. They know the blind fanboys will just buy anything anyway.
I'm buying it and will still sell millions of copies no matter how much you people nitpick and whine. Just go play Nemesis and let the rest us evolve.
A bit not related to the boxart but its funny how people judge the game based on an old demo when there are months left before release. I"d wait and judge the game when it comes out.tommyasI haven't played the demo, and I don't care much what people who've played the demo think about it because their opinions are about the demo, not the full game. And in the same way you can compile snippets to create a 2-minute trailer that makes the Star Wars prequels look awesome, a demo that only gives you an out-of-context preview can hardly give you an informed opinion about the full game. That said, you're fooling yourself if you believe the game isn't already as finished as it's going to be. They'll try to squash as many bugs as they're able and fix all the glitches they can catch, and they might do minor tweaks here and there, but it's way too late in the process for them to be altering core mechanics or overhauling gameplay. It's schedule for release on October 2, less than 3 months from now. In another month or so, if they haven't started already (I have no clue how long these things typically take), they'll be going into full scale production, printing and packaging the game, and shipping it off around the world to ensure stores have their copies before the release date. The game is done and, at best, just being polished. I'd say most, if not all, the developers have already been moved on to other projects or forthcoming DLC. And while the demo might be slightly older, it's hardly so out-of-date as to be completely different from the final product. The box art is lame and generic. I feel comfortable saying that because I'm looking right at it. But I'm reserving judgment on the actual game until there are reviews, by people I trust, of the full game and I have a chance to play that full game for myself.
