Ratchet and Clank Movie

A ratchet movie is being made and will be released in 2015. It's following the story of the 1st game. The voice actors for Qwark, Ratchet and Clank are reprising their roles.

I'm not sure what to think...

It all seems very random and almost uncalled for.

Why not pick up the game and play it? Why just watch it?

Kinda sounds like a cash grab.

Looks interesting. Not sure if I'll see it in the theaters though. Here's the trailer.

Not sure why they would choose Ratchet for a movie, but I am interested in seeing the end result. I won't get my hopes up assuming it will be good, but R&C's brand of tongue-in-cheek, fourth-wall-breaking humour could translate well into a film.

You just answered your first part of your comment. The video games would translate very well into the silverscreen. 

I for one, am super stoked for this movie. Definitely will go watch this day one. I've always said that R&C would be perfect as a film. Too bad its not Pixar but I'll take it. Better than nothing. Only if they would give out some new info on Deadlocked.

I'm up for it.
