After installing the update 4.00 i was watching a video when i noticed a icon on the control panel for subtitles.

I looked on the Internet to find out how i could use them on my videos.

I read that you can use srt's but i can't seem to get them working.

Anyone have a solution?

I wasn't talking about umd's. I meant videos you download onto your psp.

The subtitle icon is being used for a video service in Japan & when the 4.00 firmware was released, its info page on the Japanese playstation site listed the subtitle icon in its list of included features for firmware 4.00 But for the rest of us any video files you download to your memory stick has to have had subtitles encoded into it to make the icon work. Sadly most videos you download off the net dont have subtitles encoded into them so the icon wont work. Now as for the hidden screenshot folder, i heard that Everybodys Golf 2 (Hot Shots Golf 2 in the U.S.) was the first game ever to use the hidden screenshot folder but since i dont have the game yet i cant cheak to see if thats true.
