I have a ****** Wireless N+ router with a WPA2 encryption, and for some reason my PS3 won't connect to it.

I've tried to put the key in multiple times, but it wouldn't work. I have multiple devices in my house connected to the network and they all work fine. Signal strength stays between 50-60%, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Any advice?

You should check if the PS3 supports WPA2 because I'm not sure if it does or doesn't. Change to another encryption temporarily and see if it connects. If it does then you know it's the encryption type.

It does...I don't have any problem with my router(D-link 4500)connecting.

don't want to necro but...

PS3 does support WPA2. I just get an error that the connection timed out and a wrong key may be the problem. My key is 35 characters long, so that may be the problem.

I'm not taking the password off my wireless because of people like Weeze. Any other suggestions?

Try this:

1. Turn everything that connected to the modem off

2. Reset the modem/router (use the Reset Button)

3. Log into your modem/router and use the WPA2 and enter the password again

4. Restart your modem/router

5. Turn on your PC/Laptop and try to connect it to the Internet (use wireless)

6. After you can connect to the Internet with your PC/Laptop then try to connect your PS3 to the Internet

Try that and see if it works :)
