hey my buddy just got a new 40gig ps3 and he's having this problems , lines show up on his tv screen and they keep going up and down.. now he's tv aint that old i woild say around 2000 and he did change the connection cords ...now would this be a ps3 problem or a tv problem. anyways im late for work! so i g2g! wish i had more time to explain the problem!
Well I have a similar problem, but I solved the case taking out the tv signal of the tv. Done, but I couldn't watch tv anymore, so I let it there now, it doesn't bother me anymore. So try to take the tv signal cable of and see what happens.
I don't know why it makes interference, but whatever, just try it.
Now if you use another type of tv signal, maybe it's a ps3 problem. Good luck!
