hey folks just wondering if ne one else was having problems with their system after they got the error code. my video isnt working ne more and they want to charge me 150 dollars to fix it wanted to see if ne one else was having the same problem
Only problem i had was that some of my Bayonetta trophies were lost even after the Sync, but so far, nothing else apparently, i still have to check the PSN downloads to see if i have any problem downloading something.

maybe you need to hold down the power button until u hear 3 beeps to do the video card reset while the wires are conected to tv./ blow out the conector parts on cable and plug back into tv/ps3

Yup yup. I was happy to get back my CoD:MW2 and GTA4 trophies after playing for a bit and doing the "sync" thing... but sadly most of my God of War trophies are missing.
I had another error message before playing a Blu-Ray but I tried it again and it worked with no issues. What do you mean by videos not working? If it's just a blank screen do what Bladex2k said.

If your your trophies disapeard during the error just put the game back in to reinstall/validate the trophies, quit the game, and sync. Everythign should come back aslong as you where able to sync the trophies before the error came.
Everything has been ok for me. The one game I'd been playing and had "lost" the trophy info for all came back AND the next time I turned the game on all the trophies I had won before realising there was an issue all came back - was great hearing trophy after trophy "ding" in :D:D

Yeah, I played NBA2K10 last night and re-synced. I got home from college to see that they've returned. :D
Well right after the error i played the Army of Two 40th day demo, and i just had got online with somebody and i hit start game and the screen just went black, so i had to turn off and on again. But i dont know if that was caused by 8001050f because my ps3 is kinda glitchy, but it could be.
Question: I listened to Sony and haven't turned on my PS3 since the error started popping up, so i haven't experienced the error yet, so my question is -- can I turn my PS3 on now? have they fixed the problem? what may happen (if anything at all) when i turn on the PS3? thanks.

Really? I was playing BioShock 2 when the PSN went down, and I just lost the last 3-4 trophies I earned. Other than loosing those few trophies, I'm not noticing any problems at all.
MY PS3 fat disconnects all day while playing MAG. Every once in a while i get through an entire game, but not often. The PS3 is connected to my router fine and the Internet works for my PC, but I get errors like "disconnected from game universe" and about 10 other errors. This all started after the big glitch a few days ago. Argh!!!
