first of all, its free, its very hard to not get a "bang for your buck" out of free.
now i like home, its constantly changing and evolving and it will only stop when the PlayStation franchise dies,
as of now i think it has alot of grate content, and its just going to keep growing.
all tho it has its problems, like not being able to get into a game in espn raceing
and i also enjoy Xi, alt reality game inside home, like a daily lil puzzle to get the day going.
its free, its going to keep evolving, and its going to stay no matter what you say
I tried it when it first went to open beta, looked around and didnt come back until last week. It's grown somewhat, and there is definitely a sub-culture of PS3 users who have really taken to it as their own. What I still didn't see was any draw to make the masses use it on a regular basis. But hey! It's free, it's growing, and it gives people into it one more reason not to turn off their PS3. :)

Home sucks. True story ;). True dat. Well, it was fun for about the first hour. That's it though. It's another attempt at making console avatars, except it's stuck in a virtual chat room form, its not really a game, chatting online is more of an MSN thing. So, i have to agree with everyone, it sucks
It's great if you need to charge a controller. That is how I waste the time when I have to recharge my Dualshock 3. Though I never really leave the courtyard, I'm sure I've been evicted from my house by now. IRARELY go on. I thought youcould join any gamewith people, I thought that was the point of home, but apparently it has nothing to do with that...at all...which would be an awesome feature. Make friends, then join a game of K2 to pwn kids with tactics.
Home has a lot of potential. I'm excited to see how much they expand it. I was checking out the EA Sports area last night and I thought the idea of them making a virtual showroom of all of their games was a really cool idea. As long as all of this stuff stay free, I'll keep having fun with it.
My only problem with home is the things they charge for. Theres no way im going to pay for fake clothes. I went to check out the Resident Evil 5 costume and the full costume costs about $5. Thats fn insane!
i see you haven't downloaded the mall section of home. go buy some virtual clothes with your hard earned real life cash, or some virtual real estate. then come back with that free bs.first of all, its free, its very hard to not get a "bang for your buck" out of free.

I remember going into the movie theater and watching previews. There is a reason its a beta though, and it can only get better from here.Ninja_Zombie83um... yea... you can also watch previews on psn. and how long has it been beta. since when of last year? home should be called pure garbage.
It's alright for what it is.
It's not something I'll ever get into though. It feels like a website like Habbo or something...
These are some excellent points - there are some really cool things on Home, and have you heard about the new thing where you'll be able to make your own movies within Home?first of all, its free, its very hard to not get a "bang for your buck" out of free.

its ok, i have not been on there much, the bowling i found difficult to play, the ball just kept going to the side. Its good to meet people, but annoying when they might speak another language etc. Apart from that, its really up to you on how you feel.
What makes it good is if you have friends to go on with and meet up with on it. Before I'd go on and be bored to tears, then I met a few people that where actually sane on it and it's been good times ever since. Now that they have the EA sports complex and a few other areas it's not bad.

Im not realy sure if I enjoy home.... Because i'm a girl, and after about 2 minutes of being Virtualy molested I say "F this" and Leave. Maybe I should make a male avatar, or maybe the home mall should sell mace?
Sigh_han
HAHAHAHA i agree with that. I went on once, then after getting followed around by 10 guys interrogating me i signed off and haven't been on since.
dont flatter urselves as its most likly the only male attention u get. It's a good isea but very boring at times. Last time I was playing it you couldn't even put furniture in your house, don't know if you can now. It doesn't feel like there is anything to do on Home.
I think Home is a complete waste of time and money. What the hell was Sony thinking? I think Sony should just abandon the service immediately, or give it a point. One or the other. At the moment Home is pointless. It's a shame really. Sony promised so much and delivered very little.x-2tha-zwhat did they promise?
