Not even an RPG fan but just got Fallout 3 and it's like the GREATEST GAME EVER!

Maybe it's because I have no real experience with RPGs so I didn't know what I was missing, but I just got 2-3 hours into Fallout 3 and I have never in my life been so immersed in a videgame.

Fallout 3 is absolutely full of complete aesomeness!

I encourage anyone not into these types of games to get it. Seriously, I usually just play sports games and Call of Duty but now Fallout 3 is my favourite game.

Oh, and get the special edition 'cause it comes with a wicked bobblehead!

If you like it this much, you might want to look into Oblivion. That's how it started with me, amazed by Oblivion and went on to Fallout 3.

That was my favorite game of last year. That's saying a lot because last year we had Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4 just to name a few.

That's good to hear as I just bought the game as well.

Fallout 3 was decent.

I agree, I don't really like the look of RPG games but once I got Fallout 3 I was addicted for hours non-stop.

TC might die if he plays Oblivion then, cause it's even better than FO3........hillelslovak

FO3 was sick, but i could only take so much dirty run down nuclear apocolypse. the game also feels pretty much emotionless. no immersion really. just me though.

I agree, I'm not a typical RPG fan as Oblivions reviews just couldn't not let me get it although it was good just wasn't my type of game. Fallout 3, Wow. I think it's because i'm into 20-40 hour RPGS or I just don't like Fantasy RPGS.

Fallout 3 is a pretty awesome game. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was one of my favorites from last year. So much to do.

Female prostitues!

I've got like 120 hours into it with a good male character. Level 33 or so. (I play it on PC so I have it modded)

I've just started a evil female character. Got about 20 hrs in with her. Watching mutants explode in various ways in VATS never seems to get old :P

Amazingly enough it sucked more than oblivion IMO , VATS get old veeery quickly , it's boring to walk in those wastelands alone , the main quest is veery boring too.Oh words can't describe my hate for this game.But it's good to see so many people enjoying it , I mean for bethaseda :P

You should also try oblivion. its basicly fallout 3 but in a fantasy world like lord of the rings ect.

if you think fall out 3 is that amazing try oblivion it will probably blow your mind right out of your skull

Did they fix the glitches? Because I was interested I loved Oblivion, but I don't know about this because of the glitches.

Well this game wasnt made for RPG fans RPG fans like me hate it its sux. ( FPS RPG WTH! soon we might find RPG racing games O_O:: )

Hehe, this game really struck a chord with me too... only Bioshock has been able to do that otherwise. As much as I love games like Killzone 2 and GTA IV and such, they just didn't hit that nerve like those games did.

I haven't really noticed any difference. That could've been something that was left out...

OVER-RATED

I have been seriously thinking on getting Fallout 3, but I am really doubting cause I don't think I could play an RPG on a first person perspective... Oblivion is First person too right?xcc2000

Once you do this (it's a lot simpler than it sounds - this should just be the default view!) it is an absolutely aesome view, not just because it prevents the problem with seeing your character float etc. but because it's just a really cool view where your character is on the left side of the screen and pretty much out of the way so you can see everything, but he's still there and so it's third person!
