My PS3 Running Slow

I bought Battlefield Bad Company a few days ago and played it..since then my PS3 started to run very slow. When I turn PS3 on, it takes minutes to load it up. Not only when I play Bad Company but also when I am playing something else it runs bloody slow. For example when I play COD4 it takes AGES to load the game settings and all, it's just annoying as hell.

Also my blutoothheadset does not seem to work at all since I started playing Bad Company (which I put it on ebay as I did not like it)

Is it just me, or does anyone have the same issue(PS3 running slow)?

It's getting quite dusty so hopefully cleaning will fix the problem. It happens I have air compressor too. Thanks guys

Should take less than 20 seconds to load up from puhing the on switch.

The PS3 is pretty tough, it could be more than warm conditions. I'd expect the same performance if I was living in Africa.

I just started playing bf:bc last week and it has frooze up a couple of times. But this may be a coincidence but my headset also stopped working after I started playing bf:bc. I didn't think that would be related but maybe it is. What kind of headset do you have?

No loading time issues here though.

Send it back!!! It should be seamless. I've had the odd freeze up, but that's to be expected.

My headset is Logitech Cordless Vantage. I will clean my PS3 using air compressor hopefully it works

Sony specifically says do not use compressed air, they recommend a vacuum cleaner to suck out the dust.kinjo13

I had my ps3 sent in for service because the bluetooth stopped working. They sent me a replacement system and it came with a care sheet.
