More PS2 greats on Blu-Ray???

So by now everyone should have heard that God of War 1 and 2 are coming to PS3 on one Blu-Ray disc.... IN HD. Awesome news... I will be buying it and replaying them. What other PS2 great games do you wish Sony would release on Blu-Ray???!!!

Final Fantasy X. One of my favorite games ever. Or maybe Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

Does anyone know if there is more games coming to blu-ray or if it's just GOW 1 and 2?

They probably will only do that with Sony games, so I would like Shadow of the Colossus, but that's just me.

I'm not sure if they could fit all 5 (I think) ps2 R&C games on one disc.

I'm not sure if they could fit all 5 (I think) ps2 R&C games on one disc.

I'm sure the could, dual layered bluray discs hold up to 50GB of memory. There's 4 counting Deadlocked.

If it's just Sony published games, an Ico and Shadow of the Colossus blu-ray before the release of The Last Guardian would be pretty epic. If I had my pick though, I would choose Zone of the Enders 1+2. :Praven_squad

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus wont get much upgrade into HD, bcuz they never had high grade graphics in the first place, but still, it would be great if they on the blu-ray bcuz I really love the games..... espicially Ico.

I would love to see DMC 1-4 on one blue ray disk; Or even 1-3 for that matter...

I also hope they do Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. It would give Square an excuse to do the Final Mix versions in English.

Really? My local Gamestop has ICO used and in near mint condition for $29.99.

FFX and FFX2 on one disk, PoP trilogy on a Disk, DMC trilogy, R&C series, MGS 1-3 (or just 2/3),Kingdom Hearts I-II, and the Jak and Daxter series.

I've never play FFX (I have played FFX2), PoP trilogy, MGS,Kingdom Hearts, or Jakand Daxter and this would be a great fun way to catch up

Don't be surprised if you start seeing ps2 games in the psn store. Rumor has it Sony didn't add BC to the slim so they could sell the ps2 library again.

Dark Cloud 2 would be great or maybe Dark Cloud 1, 2 and Rogue Galaxy all on one disc.

This sounds like a good idea for the desperate but why would people that have already played the games buy them again? I have played Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 and CoM and did practically everything. I don't see a reason to buy them again. However I would get an Ico Shadow combo because I don't have Ico (but I did beat it).

No doubt, but fanboys are fanboys. I'm getting it because I traded them in sometime ago and I've regretted it every since because I've been itching to play. I'm more interested to see if Square might follow suit and attempt to please their fans... Doubtful, but welcome if ever.

That would be awesome. I really only got ZOE because of the MGS2 demo but then really liked the game but never had a chance to get 2 which now goes for 30+ for used lol. Id definetly buy it if it had both for like 40-50 and maybe a teaser or even a demo for 3 maybe lol.

I'm pretty excited, never had a PS2 so wouldn't mind them releasing the back-catalog on Blu-ray (or alternatively bringing back BC...but I'll always wish for that).

I plan on getting it because 1) I've never played 1 or 2 and want to be caught up before 3 (since I've heard they're good games), 2) the HD update, and 3) trophies :P. For me it's kind of a win across the board. Plus, you can put the box right in with your regular PS3 collection. Ostensibly useful for the OCD gamer.

I'm so angry they are re-releasing gow 1 and 2 on a bluray and enhancing everything and adding trophies! grrrrrrrrr i just means I'll be poorer this holiday season :(joel_c17

If I could get a FFX/FFX-2 Blu-ray, a KH/KHII (and maybe Re:CoM) Blu-ray, a Persona 3 Fes/Persona 4 Blu-ray, and a Xenosaga 1-3 Blu-ray I would die a happy man. I've never seen any anime in HD so I don't know if there would be a big difference or not in the Persona games, but any little bit helps, plus having both games on 1 disc would be awesome. I also wouldn't mind seeing DMC 1-3, Digital Devil Saga 1/2, or all the R&C games on Blu-Ray either. I've always wanted to play the Shadow Hearts series too so that would be another possible one.
