The game looks epic. I'm hoping for a weapon/object creator (traffic cone, benches etc.) Also some loops, going underground, enclosed caves and hopefully good controls and fun gameplay. BTW i am probably more hyped for this than anyone here. I am preparing major updates to my profile to show off how much i want this game, it's kind of gonna be like Black and his Bayonneta
It looks incredible, makes me want to play littlebigplanet none stop until it's release! Unfortunately, it doesn't come out until 2010. From what I saw at E3, the game looked amazing, so what more could they be adding to it? Makes me even more excited, yet anxious at the same time!
when I first saw it i wasn't too impressed, but the more i watch it the more excited i get for it. There will be 4-player split screen right? As fun as the game looks I just don't think I could justify spending $60 on it. I just know how little time I spend on racers so hopefully its cheaper than that.
I hope there is a lot of variety in the track customization I don't really know how much you can do to a race track. also the track they built in the presentation was really short and the track length bar went up quite a bit. hopefully you'll be able to make some pretty long tracks in the final build.
EDIT: oh I also hope there is some sort of Career/Story/Campaign like mode to unlock items and other stuff.
I was going to make a thread until I saw this. I think of it as Mario cart meets LBP smashed into Sony. I love Mario cart I still play it now. It looks way better than the other cart racer on PSN. Depending on how much content and online capabilities its a day one buy for me either way its a definite sale.
I really enjoy the idea of Modnation Racers and its custimization aspect, but I fear that the gameplay will be too repetitive. I'm still waiting for more information on items/"weapoms".
Don't get me wrong Uncharted2 and GOW3 had me pumped, but ModNation Racers took by surprise and was the most impressive of all. I can't wait for it to come out. I know me and my lil bro will have a blast playing it together.
I think the game is gonna be great it got me really excited, but what made me really happy was that LBP started the Play, create, share genre or whatever they called it because theres so much u can do with these types of games...I also hope they have a battle mode like Mario kart, creating race tracks and battle arenas would keep my attention for a long time.
