Dude, just skip the cutscenes. lol MGS4 had some of the best head-poppin' gameplay this gen. I did, thought it was good, but not long enough. As a newcomer to the franchise not having played the previous games, it really put me off.

If you just run through an MGS game gunning people down w/out watching cutscenes they tend to end quite abruptly. My first play through of MGS4 took around 18 hours. My second playthrough was six. :o And the game definately does not do as much for people who are unfamiliar with the series. Me being a fan from the very beginning.... well.... I almost cried. :(
MGS5 is coming sooner or later but what makes you so sure that it's coming now? The countdown on the teaser site still doesn't confirm anything. Do you have informations that support your claim Would you plz share it with us? :)
