There's a simmilar thread in SW but Lems and Sheep will probably vote for ridiculous scores to own Cows. So... yeah. What score do you think Killzone 2 will get? Will graphics be like the trailer? Will it be Halo killer? Discuss.

What would be funny is when they unveil it saying something like "This is real Killzone 2 Gameplay." Then they show some 2D game for 15 seconds then move on to another game fooling everyone. i think its safe to say that Sony already has everyone hooked.Think about it. Sony set the bar so high with the trailer that it had everyone wanting to see more. Sony then shut the door and said wait till you see what we have to show you. I think Sony knows what their doing because if this game doesn't deliver it will be a great big disappointment. In order to meet that high mark they set with the trailer, they have to stay quiet and have a larger than average budget. If they prematurely release images or video of this game then they stand a chance of loosing everything they gained with the trailer. i think they are going to get as close to the trailer as the PS3 will allow them to at this time. If this game is a success this early in the systems life cycle then it will be amazing as to what they can do later on.

Well, I'm arguably the biggest Killzone fanatic on the boards (ask some of the older members around here, some of them could probably vouch for me).

I'm a Killzone VIP over at the Playstation Underground, one of the admins at KillzoneUnit.com, a member of 3-4 Killzone-related unions, a writer of numerous upcoming fan-fiction pieces, a submitter to pretty much every Killzone-related contest since 2005, have some video stuff coming up soon that is Killzone-related, and have had my Helghast icon since joining Gamespot.

Anyways, on to the topic, yes I do feel that Guerrilla will be able to make the game looks just as good as the trailer in terms of the graphics. When first-gen PS3 games like Virtua Tennis, Virtua Fighter, Lair, etc. and early second-gen games like Uncharted, all look as awesome as they do, I can't see why Killzone (which isn't coming out for AT LEAST a year) wouldn't match its trailer in terms of graphics, given how excellent Guerrilla's work was in regards to graphics on the games of the series so far, with significantly smaller teams and a lower budget.

However, I don't feel that the AI will be as good as it seemed in the trailer, I'm expecting somewhere around, or slightly better than that in Half Life 2 and F.E.A.R., which is perfectly fine by me, but, if Guerrilla somehow managed to pull off something like what was in the trailer, I'd be ecstatic.

Other than the AI, I actually think that everything in the trailer is easily attainable.

As for what it will score here on Gamespot, I really can't say, as I haven't had a chance to try out the game yet, however, Killzone: Liberation is 1.4 points better than the original, so the quality can only go up-hill from here.

And then instantly making a transition to killzone 2 graphics with the same scene. That would be effing amazing. Or like one of the devs said, show the trailer, then hand the controller to one of the viewers after it ends.junk56

It would be better if Phil Harrison had Mathijs DeJonge (the game's director) come onto the stage at E3 2007, and start showing off the new downloadable chapter for Liberation on a PSP, and then have him say that you could unlock cool bonuses by doing stuff, and that he has one bonus to show us.

Then, on the gigantic screen, it starts off with the E3 2005 trailer, the part where they are in the sky, and just as that first guy's head is about to show up on-screen, it completely changes to in-game footage from another area, and after three minutes of it, it says the following:

"Play the Demo at 6pm PST today, via PSN"

This is the reason why I brought my PS3, I want to see what Guerrilla and Sony can deliver with KillZone on the PS3.

 Imagine if they show the same trailer from E3 05, and everyone like wtf is this it the same thing. However, this time Phil secretly playing the game and he surprises everyone with his British accent "That what you see here is in fact actual game play from E3 05"

I think it will look about as good as the trailer cuz Motorstorm looks about as good as its trailer.
