That is kinda silly, the two games don't even compare. Killzone 2 is a FPS while RE5 tries to blend action and horror, notice how I said "tries". RE5 is a fun game but is not as good as Dead SpaceIMO, while KZ2 is one if not the best FPS I have played, ever.

And ive played some of RE5, its not scary at all, whats the point of survival horror if it isnt scary, and how scary can a game be when you arent even alone?

people shouldnt be comparing RE5 to KZ2 because RE5 is a "survival horror" and KZ2 is a pure FPS, its unfortunate that capcom took the scare out of this game and turned it into another shooter, the game mechanics dont work for a shooter

i have both and i love both the killzone demo doesnt pay the game justice

comon man, it's not very difficult to see how a game handles from the demo; you don't need to eat the whole cake to know how it tastes like. That little beach segment is the carbon copy of the full game's beach segment. And just from that little piece you can derive whether you like how the game plays (sure it may not be enough for some, but plenty for others). In terms of the multiplayer, the controls and handling is exactly the same; just because you're shooting human players instead of AI, does not alter the actual shooting aspect. If TC didn't like how the game played from the demo, it's enough. That's why demos exist; how can you deny their purpose? the purpose to give you a taste of the game.

so in a literal sense, a demo does compare to the full game, not entirely, but it's comparable nonetheless. there is no argument here. now as much as i think it is often silly to judge a game based on a demo, it is possible, and often times dead-on accurate. Trust me, i used the "it's just a demo" line before too; i've leaned since then.

i haveBOTH (FULL :D)games and love BOTH ,BOTH are very good , KZ is a very revolutionary shooter , awesome MP , RE 5 doesnt do anything new since 4 but i love the story and coop , why do people always have to complain instead of enjoying the games , if you dont like it dont hate it

I prefer KZ2. It feels more immersive. Prob cos it's a FPS though.

Anywho, Uncharted 2 will be king this year. Enjoy your 5 mins of fame RE5, because when Uncharted 2 comes out.......um..it will...i dunno...

Heh, killzone 2 rocks re5's butt. I only played the re5 demo though but I can tell it is not as good as killzone. Re5 is racist too, a white guy killing a bunch of black zombies. In killzone you're a white guy killing other psuedo british dudes.

I totally agree with you. I never played the full game but I played both the beta (multiplayer) and demo (single campaign) and I just didn't like the feel of the game, which (of course) will remain the same throughout the whole game.

If demos didn't represent a final product, they would be pointless.

It all depends on a matter of taste. KZ2 focuses on warfare and realism, while RE5 focuses on the thriller aspect with its long-standing RE controls. Mind you, I have KZ2, and only tried the demo of RE5, and they're both good games. I wouldn't say one is better than the other because they're not in the same genre. One's an FPS while the other's a TPS. One is tactical warfare while the other is zombie-blasting (might have some tactical element, but it's not necessarily focused). It's just not the same experience, imo. So again, all depends on the player. If he likes one over the other, to each his own. But I wouldn't take such rash judgements of a game over a demo.

You must have not liked the aiming in KZ 2. IMO I think the aiming was fine. But I do agree on one thing, RE 5 is awesome. :)

Killzone 2 has amazing graphics and I give it a 9. Resident Evil 5 is just better though!
