Is there a way to delete my PSN account, and make a new one?

I want to basically restart, like I'm setting it up for the the first time out of the box. Get rid of everything, trophies, saves, etc. And get a new PSN ID. Is that possible?

Yea, its not hard to do. You just forget about all your info and make a new account.

You can get rid of it on your PS3 but it will still exsist and you can logg back in to it. So basicly no you cant delete it but you can get rid of it off your PS3. You can make as many PSN profiles as you want, I have 4, of course only one is my main one with all my trophies and friends.J-WOW

You can have multiple users on a PS3. I have 7 set up currently on my PS3 for different reasons.

after logging in with the current account/user name, at the xmb go to the farthest left look for your user name then press triangle then select delete OR just create a new one without deleting the one you want to delete(which i did before).

Your account wont be in your PS3 anymore but since its still in SONY's stuff so you can still sign in with it if you want.
