Im just wondering how long the longest cutscene is, and trust me, this is believable cause some cutscenes in the predecessors were as long as 20, 30 minutes.
SO DOES MGS 4 HAVE A 90 MINUTE CUTSCENE??? dont lie people. nothing to be ashamed of...!

not even close the longest would have to be around 50 mins but this game was great cuase it came in 1080 and on my lcd this game was mind blowing
i dont care, its a video game, atleast it should be-theCHUD-And it is a really good one at that, but what's wrong with a video game having such an involved story. I love the MGS series for its story, don't get me wrong the gameplay is phenomenal and a lot more versatile now, but if the cutscenes were even longer, I wouldn't have minded one bit. And I think there are 2 cutscenes or series of cutscenes that are about that long in length, like one in the middle after act 3 before 4 is about an hour and the final one is a bit longer.
The final cutscene hovers around the 84 minute mark. It also concludes the finest game in a renowned series, and should be watched by anyone that plays MGS 4 and appreciates games that feature both incredibly gameplay and complex stories. Kevin-VListen to this man!

Then don't play the one of the highest-rated games of the year.
[QUOTE="-theCHUD-"]60 minutes is ridiculously way overdue. its a good thing the fanbase likes this game for its story and not gameplay.emitsu97First off, it's the ending. Second, it's wrapping up 20 years worth of story.Well put I kinda like MGS just because of the cutscenes...

Third, Even if it had a 180 Min cutscene, I would still watch it and enjoy it, lol, It would be better than watching a movie.
Should you have played the 3 previous games to fully appreciate mgs4? b/c i really wanna buy it, but i know nothing of the mgs series...
is there a website i can get cought up on, or anything like that?

No, you don't have to play the previous games. The game pretty much gives you quick explanations for things that happened in the other games through the storyline.....If you want to learn about the series more in-depth you can always download the MGS Database from PSN to read up on pretty much anything abt the MGS series. There's even some things you can find in it that you wouldn't see in the games, so it would be a good idea for you to check that out.
