I've already bought it. For some bizarre reason it was released here in Australia yesterday, so i've been playing it. And i've been loving it. Admittedly i'm a big RE fan, and in the severe minority of RE fans who don't really mind that the series has gone a more action orientated route.
For me, it comes down to two questions:
1) Was that demo based off the near completed version of the game, or was it the demo from way back in March?
2) The game is split into 3 campaigns of two chapters each. How long is that actually going to last?
I tend to really enjoy the RE games, even though they have taken a turn towards action. Are any of you guys picking it up?

I can answer these questions for you.
1. I've only been playing Leon's campaign, so i can only comment on his part of the demo. The proper game is pretty much like the demo from what i can tell. It's a bit smoother and i've noticed a few different gameplay tweaks and features i never noticed in the demo (you can counter enemy attacks) but it's pretty much the same. That being said, the game gets better as you play. Eventually you get used to the controls and the gameplay mechanics (quickshot is surprisingly useful). It also gets much better looking. Seriously, it wasn't until i reached Chapter 2 of Leon's campaign that i started to notice how good things look. Basically the demo doesn't really do it justice.
2. Each campaign has 5 chapters. I'm at the beginning of chapter 4 of Leon's campaign, and it's listed my playtime as 5 hours. I am playing on Veteran difficulty, and i've died a fair amount, so that probably adds to it but i wouldn't worry about length if each campaign is this long. Also there's a fourth campaign after you beat the other three, and that one has five chapters too.
