Infamous series seems bleh. However, Sony gave me both games. Play or no play?

Do I force myself to play these or just let them take up HDD space? I dislike the story and characters and cheesy dialogue and bad acting and the games seem shallow. You play as a skinhead who shoots electroballz, and his sidekick is one of the most obnoxious characters ever in a video game.

I dont know, if you can get them for free, you can always give it a try...

i tried the demo of infamous 2... and after 5 min i delete it... i didnt like it so much.... maybe it gets better, maybe i didnt have the patiente, ...

but if its for free i will give it another try

No, you don't deserve to enjoy these games.

As far as Sony's first Party games go this gen, the inFAMOUS titles are the best IMO. They have the best gameplay (most important thing) and the most interesting story. I say you shouldn't judge them so harshly so soon.

if you have played them and didnt like them why would you keep them? If you are going just by videos then that is the wrong way to do so.campzor

only played Infamous 1 but really enjoyed it, kind of a GTA with super powers, town is not super big but large enough to do lots of things, graphics are real good for a game that old

Don't play games again because based on every single post you make, you don't appreciate any game. So save us your moaning and leave them alone.

It took awhile to warm up to Infamous. It was one of my choices during the welcome back program. Not because of the gameplay. But yep I agree the Characters are anoying.

But I actually came to like the game. I have not play the second game. If you don't enjoy the game do play it. Why force enjoyment where there is none.

First one is the best PS3 exclusive IMO.

Second one? Not so much. They changed a lot of things that I wasn't really happy with but other people seem to think its better than the first.

I don't see why you should play the game you don't enjoy or have fun with. Just because it's free, it doesn't make it: "I have to play it".

There are decent games and one of the better superhero based games in last few years, I personally don't mind them but I wouldn't pay the full price. That my preference of course.

Delete them and play something you like. :)

I loved the first Infamous so much I actually spent time to get the Platinum trophy. I have the second one but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. It looks good though! I highly suggest you play them, at least the first one.

Don't know about inFamous 2, but the original inFamous is my second favorite PS3 exclusive. However, you don't really seem to like it so maybe its not your thing.

did buy the DLC game when it was dirt cheap just because it has vampires in it, but only played for an hour or two and lost interest.soundcellx

They are some of my favorite games on the PS3, infamous two is much better but both are great games. Play them.

Why cry about a game you don't even like and ask for others people opinion if you should play it or not. You are making it seem like you are forcing yourself to play them because they were simply free. Don't like it? Don't go "it's complete crap but talk about trying to play it even though you made it clear you don't like inFamous. Never played the first one,but my brother had the second game laying around so I got pretty into it and beat it in a few days because I got really enthralled into the game.AsianKamikaze

Actually RPGs are fun, and it is shooters (TPS and FPS) that are the boring and casual shallow games with very little gameplay involved.

Play them. If they're free there's no reason not to. I got Infamous 1 for free way back when PSN was down for months and personally I would never have bought it, or LittleBigPlanet. But I love both of those games.

Sounds to me like your mind is made up on these games. If you really do not like the InFamous series then delete them from your hard drive and free up space. If you ever do change your mind on them it will be in your download history to grab again.
