Man, I watched the video again. I'm so stoked for this game right now. That was a great video. I love the way cole can scale whatever he wants and shoot from wherever he's at. I like the graphic novel style of story telling. I like how there are so many moves and they're all upgradable. I like that reviewer, too. He's good. Anyway, I can't wait!!!
hmm...surpising that it got such good scores. Then again, I'm rather pessimistic about games now days so it's always good to see a good game come along.
u could tell greg miller from ign us was gonna give it a great score, he was bigging up the game in december. Those reviews still aren't enough for me to pre-order,I mean this generation most mediocre games have been given 9s e.g far cry 2, resi 5 and more. but Im hoping the demo will change my mind. Yeah, that is one problem I am seeing more and more of. Older, innovative titles got great scores, but as time progresses and the reviewers are expecting more and more out of each game the scores get lower and lower. However, the over-hyped mainstream stuff seems to slip right in and take up a spot in the top ten everytime. FarCry 2 was a joke IMO, and RE5 wasn't as great as everyone made it out to be. Heck, even GTA4 was a big borefest to me. They all got pretty good scores but aren't that great. I think as time progresses and the scores fail more and more to suit each game for what it is they have to just put a good score on something every now and then just to make it seem like games are still getting better. However, in actuality, games are starting to stagnate. With all the great, innovative and sensory overloading titles that have come out recently its becoming more and more impossible for your average developer to produce something noteworthy. Hopefully this trend subsides soon, and developers start to really focus on the core elements that make a game good, story and gameplay. Anyway..... I think Sucker Punch went all out here. I really feel this game will live up to its new score. ....... Hope I'm right *crosses fingers*.
