Im pickin up a PS3 in less than an hour, what game should i get real quick?

Im gettin the $500 budle with motorstorm but i want another game

i sold my 360 for the ps3 so im thinkin a game exclusive to ps3. is that fall of man game any good?

(also, MGS4 is why i sold my 360 for ps3, that alone proves they dont need to bring it to 360, cause everybody who truly wants it will likly give in)

Resistance is the best game to get IMO when you're playing on the PS3 for the first time.

resistance:fall of man

ratchet and clank

ninja gaiden sigma

Those are the best exclusives I can think of right now, any of them are a great choice.

Ok I'm leavin in 10 or 20 minutes, I watched the reviews for Resistance and Uncharted, those both look great. Anybody got any last minute advise on either Uncharted or Resistance before I head out?--Sinister--

Well since your going for those two I say...COD4 because COD4 has better online than Resistance and a lot of Resistance players are moving to COD4 and COD4 will last you longer than Uncharted. Im not saying Uncharted or Resistance are bad, but they're not as good as COD4 imo. But out of those two seriously I say Uncharted it's one of the best games out last year.

I played the life outta COD4 on 360 so I probley wont buy that again for awhile.

But yeah, anyway I just got back and picked it up. I actually got UNREAL cause they didnt have uncharted and the used copy of resistance lookd really damaged. so far im gettin a kick outta ps3, i really like it. the only thing is im still not used to the controller. sixaxis is pretty sweet though. i wont lie

is it really? i bought it last gen... wasnt that impressed, the only lightgun game that impressed me was the resident evil one... also i was told it doesnt work with LCD tvs?

Theres like 50+ custom maps working on ps3 too! (And like 10-15 or so custom Mods and a few custom game types.)

He has already played the life out of CoD4 by the way but is probably the best game out at the mo IMO.

Grats on PS3 and unreal! like he said go get them mods! and MAKE SURE you get the one called Action Cam, its prolly the most popular one atm, and gives it a halo/GoW/on steriods kinda feel :) and when you get good and feel you can step up add me! psn: Strife037

Gibilicous is good too, can get laggy on big maps with lots of action though.
And Stealth Arena

Oh, and action cam+jetpack mod=WIN (Yes, theres a jetpack mod)

As for maps, try DM-Bathroom, DM-Flat Wars and CTF-Bedroom Wars (All awesome mini-me maps)

Also, DM-Downpour, DM-Abandoned, DM-Shrine, DM-Krodan, DM-Campgrounds2k8, WAR-Artic Strondhold, DM-Obrital Deconstruction and a few others.
