Really, I am. Even without VR.

I am afraid I will have a heart attack and die. I want to play the game. I had no problem playing other resident evil games because they seemed more of action type than horror. But I think this one is no joke.

I know you would say if i am afraid then why play it ?

Well, you see, I always attempted horror games. It is my goal to conquer my fear. I played a lot of horror games and finished some. Finishing Dead Space part 1 took a full month because I am taking breaks so I don't have a nervous breakdown. And so here I am, hoping to finish resident evil 7 on PSVR.

What will happen guys? Will I die? Is technology going to far? Will I be able to finish this or be admitted into psychiatric hospital? Doesn't The huge jacked man of wolverine series looks like Mill Gibson now?

@k--m--k: 1 month is long for you? wow...

Who do we make the will out to? and the death certificate?

Kidding, you'll be fine, maybe a few accidents but other than that, it'll be ok. But seriously, how is 1 month long???

@GTR12: ha, you had me for a second there.

Considering dead space is like a 15 hours game. A month is a lot. At least to me. Dragon Age only took me 3 weeks

@k--m--k:

I'm not gonna lie, it gets pretty intimidating to play even in the beginning. But it's mostly an intimidation game. Once you conquer your fear over the fucked up monsters like I did, it's actually pretty easy!

I must agree. Resident Evil 7 looks amazing but I'm not going to play it. I played two RE games in the past. Reveleations (my first RE) and 6. The first "jump-scare" in Revelations was a little scary, but that's pretty much it. The whole game was just good action and not scary at all. the same goes with 6.

7 on the other hand.... yep, it looks pretty scary. even without VR. Therefore I'm not going to play it despite it looks a great game.

@yammireckorrdsan: yeah tell me about it. I play resident evil 6 and it was boring for me.

I love how they went with the 7th part....but I am afraid they went too far.

@killered3: yes you right! I remember playing dead space 2 and I wasn't as afraid as playing first part. And 3rd part was a freaking breeze for me.

But I am not sure if that's me getting used to the monsters or the game actually got less scary with each part.

So Skyrim and Fallout, you're done with in a month? they took me 8 months for me...

I'm afraid to play it too. Because I bought Resi evil 6, and that's possibly been the most disappointed I've ever been.

@Justinps2hero: I agree with you. I didn't even bother finishing resident evil 6. I simply didn't enjoy it. It wasn't scary, and the action was meh.

Nope, 2 hours a day on weekdays and maybe 5 on weekends, I don't get how people can rush through games, enjoy it.

I think that If you want to play that videogame but you are afraid, maybe you should play it without sound. If you think about horror films, you know that without sound and music, they dont scare you. So, try it :-)
