i have 2 games that i have sealed
- portal 2
- motorstorm apocalypse
not opening them any time soon too
Seriously, how can you people have sealed games? When I buy a game, even if I don't intend on playing it for a while, I still open it up and check the disk is in there and browse the manual for a couple of seconds.

Everytime I buy a game which is new and sealed I always open it and one of the reasons is to check the disc isn't faulty as it is possible.Seriously, how can you people have sealed games? I can't understand anyone having a sealed game in their collection which they haven't got around to playing. That's just crazy. I have none (as you can tell). As soon as I get a new game I unwrap it and play it straight away.

I usually buy multiple games at a time, and what happens is sometimes I move onto another game before I play the other ones I buy. But eventually I get to all of them anyway, so what's the difference?
For me at least it's not like I'm piling up games I paid $59 for and then by the time I play them I could have paid $20. THAT would be stupid because it's just wasting money. But in my case usually I'm buying games when they are hitting rock bottom prices (i.e. New Vegas and Split Second I literally *just* picked up for $9.99 each, for sealed brand new copies). In fact pretty much every game on my list is something I grabbed for $9.99 or some really cheap price. I don't know exactly when I'll get to start them, but I know they'll never be much cheaper than $9.99 so I figured I might as well grab them. I see no reason to open them until I'm ready to play.
Disgaea 3 is really the only unopened game I've had forever, the others are all within the last couple months at most but that one is probably 2 years. For whatever reason I can't bring myself to start it.
How can someone have so much willpower!? :o If i got all thoses games to play I wouldn't be quoting you right now. I'd be playing. :PI'm bad at this.

I'm with you. I buy the game, open it (definitely to check to see if the disc is there because there is a chance it might not be), check the manual, and take a whiff of that new game smell (*sniiiiff* ahh!) :P oh yeah then I play it when I get home.
None :) I ususally get games so spaced apart that when I get them Im not currently playing one so I open it right away.
I have a bad habbit of playing like 3 games at once....it drives me crazy but I cant seems to just focus on one til its done haha
i have 2. they are like 2 yrs old as well lol. they were xmas gifts, and i for some unknown reason did not put them on the shelf w the rest of my games, but rather in my nightstand drawer (along with the alice in wonderland blu-ray ive yet to open) perhaps i shall get round to playing Bioshock and Spiderman: wos this summer.

Same here, I have a few I haven't got around to yet (Mirror's Edge, Vanquish, FFXIII), but I always at least take off the shrink wrap.

25 for PS3

You have got to be kidding me.. 25 SEALED games? I don't even own 25 PS3 games.. Why would you even purchase a video game if you don't intend on playing it?
Yeah, I understand what you're saying bro but people like me have sealed copies because we might see a game in a sale for a very good price. These purchases accumulate into a backlog and I, for example, only play one game at a time so some are still sealed. :)I can't understand anyone having a sealed game in their collection which they haven't got around to playing. Four for the PS3 (Uncharted, Dante's Inferno, Sly Cooper Collection, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine). And I'm actually proud of this relatively small number. :P
Like others have said, I only buy games when they are on sale/clearance. Not to mention I spend way too much money on video games (how can you turn down a highly discounted game?). Because of this I tend to accumulate games at a much quicker rate than I can play them.

Then why buy 5 games at a time? I can understand if the game retails for $60, and there's a sale and it's only $30.. But buying 5 games and just not playing them... I don't get it. And why even buy more games if you even have a backlog that's over 5? Wish I could afford to have 25 games in my backlog, let alone 25 games for my PS3.. But if you do, more power to ya man.
when u have a big backlog of games to play then u can imagine buying a game and not opening it immediatelyCan't imagine buying a game...
and never opening it....
What's wrong with you people?

I've never bought 5, but I have bought 3 at a time when I already had a 2-3 game backlog. Sometimes Amazon buy 2 get 1 free sales are hard to resist!
About 10, not all ccome to my mind, I know for sure that those are sealed: Dungeon Siege 3, Monopoly Streets, MySims Sky Heroes, Trinity, de blob 2, Megamind. I don't remember the others, but I know there are more
