you see? i'm not the only one having problems with Uncharted freezing. they've theorized that it's due to corrupted save files. but wth? i've never turned off my PS3 during a save/load. i guess i'm the minority in the majority.
and check this Re: uncharted keeps locking up/freezing on me The replay has even a worse freeze than the original run through. This is pathetic.

I think it is just a glitch in the game during the run and gun. Try just running and I'll bet it works fine.bryankei
Yeah, same here. I got a copy of God of War new and the Sceans lag sometimes. My Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 works just fine. I've tried the game in both consoles and it dose the samething.
First off let me state, I think Uncharted was one of the best games out so far for the PS3, but 3 quarters through the game, the game would stall or something and pop up on the screen and say please insert the Uncharted disc. Once I ejected it and then put it back in the system it worked fine. It was annoying, but I did get through it. Anyone else have those problems?

Don't you just love how "poorly optimized" has become the new buzz word for fanboys, both sides no less. yea a naughty dog developed game built ground up for ps3 was poorly .. I guess I'm joining the madhouse cause I've had Uncharted freeze up and sometimes take an abnormal time to load for me at least 4-7 times.

Yup. It froze for me too after ***** dies and ****** start running. Right after ****'s line and the first gunshot...*long repetitive sound effect skips*

On a real note, sorry. maybe the disk is defective, i've played that game through tons of times, never froze once, ever. Maybe they had batch of bad disks and you guys are part of that percentage that got stuck with faulty disks, if you've had the game for a short period of time try returning it for a new one or write to the the sony studio that made it.
