Gran Turismo 6 region locked?

Hi,

I just picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 6 and it has a region 1 icon on the spine. Does this mean it can not be played in Australia on a Aussie PS3?

@mgason: No, you can play it.

All ps3 games, with an exception for persona 4 arena, are region free.
